Windhoek High School's name carries weight because generations of learners, teachers, parents and old scholars have invested in it — with their time, their talent and their support. Its diversity has always been its greatest strength: people from every background, one school.
Government funding keeps the lights on. Supporters make the school exceptional. World-class sport facilities, financial assistance for talented learners, a thriving cultural programme — these are built by the people who believe in the school.
A steady monthly contribution, however modest, is worth more to the school than any once-off gift: it lets us plan, commit to capital projects, and finish what we start.
Every Namibian Dollar given to this school is an investment in the next hundred years — and in the young Namibians who will lead them.

Every gift, monthly or once-off, is pooled and put to work where it matters most. Our first priority is sport: upgrading the netball courts and hockey astro to give our athletes facilities they can be proud of.
Your support also helps talented learners who need financial assistance, while keeping the performing arts and cultural activities thriving. And as new needs arise, it allows WHS to respond where support is needed most.
Questions about giving, the 1917 Club, or the projects? We'd love to hear from you.
